Being an event planner, a DJ and music lover, the client requested a house to reflect his particular lifestyle. Located on a prominent hill overlooking the sea, the villa is conceived as a “party landscape” celebrating the various stages of a reception : The main public space is a series of platforms cascading down the slope of the terrain, maximizing external areas for reception as well as providing a seamless architectural promenade from the ground floor culminating in an infinity pool. Arrival is on a pilotis sheltered by a floating box above it, where the guest is greeted by hardscape and water features. A slit in the ground invites people down a glass staircase to the reception area.
